The ’Safe at every stage – Creating a music industry that’s safe for all’ guidance has been jointly produced by the Finnish Musicians’ Union, Finnish Music Creators, Music Finland, Association of Finnish Symphony Orchestras, LiveFIN, Finnish Composers’ Copyright Society Teosto, The Collective Management Organisation for Recorded Music in Finland, The Finnish Music Publishers Association, IFPI Finland, The Society of Finnish Composers, Finnish National Opera and Ballet and Finnish Live Entertainment Agency Association (SOA).
Your can find the guidance from esiinnynedukseni.fi/en/
The guidance contains guidelines, good practices and useful links, as well as ideas on how to act if you see or experience harassment, discrimination or inappropriate treatment. The instructions can also be used to reflect your own behaviour – the instructions provide support for reflecting and re-learning.
The guidance is available in Finnish and in English.
Get involved – let’s make this a safe industry for all!
Additional input was provided by Ekvalita and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The guidance is coordinated by the Finnish Musicians’ Union and its graphic design is by Tero Ahonen.
