Mirva Pulkkinen

Head of Finance

Mirva Pulkkinen, Head of Finance at the Musicians’ Union, oversees the union’s entire financial management. She is responsible for financial planning, reporting, accounting, year-end statements, and the handling of financial transactions. In addition, Mirva advises members on taxation and other financial matters.

With a background as a producer and accountant, Mirva has a thorough understanding of the working conditions of musicians and the cultural sector. She has extensive experience in financial management for associations and non-profit organizations, with particular expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and linking financial processes to organizational strategy.

Beyond finding solutions and ensuring accurate numbers, Mirva is motivated by working toward a purpose greater than herself.
