Music students
The Finnish Musicians’ Union is a professional organization for music performers, promoting and safeguarding the interests of musicians with over a hundred years of experience. We are also the union for music students – as a student member, you have access to all the union’s services and benefits for just 10 EUR/month.
Student membership
Full-time music students can become student members of the Finnish Musicians’ Union. A proof of enrollment must be submitted to the Finnish Musicians’ Union office along with the membership application.
Student membership fee is 10 EUR/month.
Finnish Musicians’ Union’s services for students
The student members of the Musicians’ Union have access to all the benefits and services of the union: included in the membership fee are various insurances, such as instrument insurance, as well as the Musicians’ Sick Pay Fund.

School visits
The staff of the Finnish Musicians’ Union is happy to visit educational institutions. You can invite us to courses, events, or lectures to talk about the union’s services and activities, the working life of music performers, music industry contracts, or advocacy work. Visits can also be arranged at the Finnish Musicians’ Union office.
