Musahotelli rehearsal spaces in Vallila, Helsinki

Musahotelli is a rehearsal space collective, or so-called “band hotel,” located in Vallila, Helsinki, on Mäkelänkatu, operating since 2005. Musahotelli rents out high-quality, soundproofed, and acoustically treated rehearsal rooms of approximately 20–30 m² to bands, collectives, as well as smaller ensembles and soloists, regardless of musical style. Bands and musicians typically rent a portion of a room rather than an entire rehearsal space. The rehearsal rooms are rented unfurnished, and musicians bring their own instruments and amplifiers.

The common areas at Musahotelli include two lounge areas with sofas, a kitchen, plenty of restrooms, and a shower. Moving instruments is easy thanks to two large freight elevators. There are also rentable storage units for items such as hard cases and flight cases.

Musahotelli offers members of the Finnish Musicians’ Union a 10% discount on the following standard monthly rates:

In addition to the discount, Musahotelli offers a shortened one-month notice period (normally 2 months) for indefinite rental agreements.

The benefit can be claimed by signing a new rental agreement for a rehearsal room or room share by the end of 2025. Mention your membership to the Finnish Musicians’ Union when signing the rental agreement.
